Coaching is a collaborative process designed to help you better understand yourself, identify what you want, and take meaningful steps toward the life and relationships you desire. Rather than telling you what to do, I offer questions, tools, education, and a supportive space to help you uncover your own clarity and direction.
Your coaching journey may include:Relationship and intimacy concernsCommunication and emotional connectionSex, desire, confidence, and body imageBoundaries and people-pleasingWomen’s issues and life transitionsIdentity, self-worth, and personal fulfillmentShadow-self explorationRepeating patterns and emotional triggersPersonal growth and goal-settingReconnecting with your needs, voice, and desiresOur work will be shaped around your individual circumstances and goals.
Therapy is generally provided by a licensed mental health professional and may involve diagnosing or treating mental health conditions, processing trauma, or addressing significant emotional distress.Coaching is future-focused and centers on self-discovery, education, goals, patterns, choices, and personal development. Coaching is not a replacement for therapy, medical care, or crisis support. In some situations, coaching and therapy may complement one another.
Your privacy is important. Information shared during coaching sessions will be treated as confidential except where disclosure is required by law or when there is an immediate concern involving safety. Privacy practices and the limits of confidentiality will be explained in your coaching agreement before sessions begin.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We will discuss what brought you to coaching, what you hope to change or understand, and what you would like to receive from our work together. You do not need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal. We can begin by identifying what feels most important right now.
Each session is shaped around your needs. A session may include conversation, guided reflection, education, thoughtful questions, journaling prompts, visualization, practical exercises, or an action step to explore between sessions. Some sessions may focus on creating a plan. Others may focus on recognizing a pattern, understanding an emotional response, or giving yourself permission to acknowledge what you truly want.
The length of coaching depends on your goals and the depth of the work you would like to explore. Some clients benefit from a few focused sessions, while others prefer ongoing support over several months.Coaching is not about rushing toward a finish line. It is about creating meaningful and sustainable change.
Feeling nervous is completely understandable. Coaching often begins at the edge of something important—a truth, a decision, a desire, or a part of yourself that has been waiting to be acknowledged. You do not have to arrive feeling fearless. You simply need enough willingness to take the next honest step.
Part of ethical coaching is recognizing when another professional may be better equipped to help. When appropriate, I may recommend that you consult a licensed therapist, physician, sexual-health specialist, attorney, crisis professional, or another qualified provider.A referral is not a rejection. It is a way of helping you receive the level and type of care you deserve.
Begin by scheduling an introductory conversation or your first coaching session. We will talk about what is happening in your life, what you would like to explore, and whether The Permission Journey feels like the right next step for you.You do not need permission to become someone new. Sometimes, you simply need a safe place to rediscover who you have been all along.
